Talking about getting back on track after the holidays and something I like about New Years Resolutions.
Happy Monday Morning!
No vlog this morning as I am slightly under the weather and slept way in!
But I want to leave this thought here about motivation.
I am frequently asked how I stay motivated:
I am and have always been motivated by my physical abilities, and the changes to my physique are an awesome bonus that adds to the fire.
But the other way around; focusing on the changes to how your body looks, rather then how it performs, leaves most people feeling insecure and unsuccessful even when some changes do occur. If you have viewed your body in a negative way for so long losing a few lbs usually don't change your opinion.
But hitting a pushup from your toes or grabbing the heavier set of weights can and does make you feel awesome! And that feeling becomes your motivation to keep going & keep trying.
STOP collecting images of hot fitness models on your Pinterest and start thinking of what is it you've been wanting to do; Pull-ups? Push-ups? Run 5km? Obstacle Races? Triple axel?
Be your own fitness inspiration. Absolutely nothing is impossible.
